Written by Pam Stephens Animated by Jim McNeill Pop artist Andy Warhol invites Puffer to visit him at the Factory, his studio, where he shows Puffer some of his famous artworks and explainshow he used different media to create them. See Mick Jagger, Self-Portrait, Bald Eagle, Do It Yourself, Big Torn Campbell's Soup Can (Pepper Pot), and Various Box Sculptures, as Puffer analyzes the artowrks and helps children learn ways to observe and think about art. Animated biographical sequences are combined with details and full-screen images of actual Warhol masterworks. The dialog will prompt viewers of all ages to make their own interpretations of the works of art. The video is accompanied by a guide with discussion questions and related art activities. |
